Tugce "Queen" Ceviker's dance odyssey commenced amidst the rich tapestry of Turkish culture. Surrounded by centuries-old traditions, she found herself mesmerized by the enchanting art of belly dance, where her love for movement blossomed. While she was a self-taught practitioner of this style, Queen's unwavering commitment instilled in her a solid groundwork in musicality, timing, and body control – skills that seamlessly transferred to her captivating Bachata expertise.
Years later, in Ankara, Turkey, Queen stumbled upon the captivating realm of Sensual Bachata. Fired up by her pursuit of perfection, she immersed herself in group classes, fine-tuning her skills through relentless practice and enthusiastic participation in the social dance circuit. Learning from dancers trained in Spain further deepened her technical know-how and artistry.
In 2021, Queen ventured into a fresh chapter, sharing her talents with Toronto's dynamic dance community. Despite the initial challenges posed by outdoor gatherings, her infectious energy and unwavering dedication swiftly endeared her to the Bachata scene.
Today, Queen stands as a veritable "encyclopedia" of Sensual Bachata technique. Her discerning eye for detail enables her to pinpoint even the most subtle movements, providing valuable feedback that enables her students to thrive. Renowned as a mentor with superpowers, she offers constructive criticism with genuine care, dedicated to fostering the growth of every budding dancer.

Andrew: Dancehall to Sensual Bachata Mastery
Originating from Toronto within a vibrant Jamaican household, Andrew's upbringing was a tapestry woven with lively beats ranging from Reggae and Calypso to Salsa, Merengue, Dancehall, Soca, Hip Hop, and R&B. Although not initially inclined towards dancing, early recollections resonate with the meticulous emulation and practice of Michael Jackson's iconic "Thriller" moves, derived from a well-worn VHS tape.
As he ventured into his adolescence, Andrew delved into the spirited realm of Dancehall, honing his dance prowess alongside friends for intimate basement gatherings. A pivotal moment in 2007 transpired when Janice Brown, a fellow member of his church community, extended an invitation to Salsa classes. This introduction to the music and dance form sparked a lasting passion within him.
Andrew's dance odyssey led him through esteemed dance companies like Latin Energy, Latin Groove, City Dance Corps, Gusto Dance Company, and Araguacu Dance Company, each contributing to the enrichment of his style and technique. In 2022, he serendipitously stumbled upon the enchanting realm of Sensual Bachata. Despite initial skepticism, he was gradually captivated by its liberating nature and expressiveness.
Eternally a student at heart, Andrew avidly pursues opportunities to broaden his knowledge through private lessons, insightful dialogues, and an insatiable thirst for growth, propelling his journey as a devoted Sensual Bachata enthusiast. With a wealth of experience to his credit, his sights are firmly set on mastering this alluring dance form.
